In 2016, Big Red made the decision to focus all of its charitable giving on the promotion of high-quality STEM education. Since then Big Red Keno has awarded $195,637.97 in grants through its Science & Math Program, which in turn has funded many incredible STEM-based projects. This year, Big Red has decided to simplify its grant process by working exclusively through non-profits to fund vetted, high-quality, research-based STEM initiatives at schools that the organizations have identified as having both an interest and a need. We encourage schools and other youth-serving entities to contact our 2018 partners Whispering Roots, Civic Nebraska, and Beyond School Bells regarding implementation of these organizations’ unique STEM projects in your school or after-school programs.
